Does AnyTrack send conversions to Facebook Ads Manager?

True, AnyTrack does it, and it's 100% compliant, legal, and in line with privacy policies, tracking restrictions, and other regulations.

When it comes to iOS 14 devices, the new privacy requirements are part of the App Tracking Transparency framework that Apple introduced in 2021.

🚧

App Tracking Transparency framework requirement for App Developers:

You must use the AppTrackingTransparency framework if your app collects data about end users and shares it with other companies for purposes of tracking across apps and websites. The AppTrackingTransparency framework presents an app-tracking authorization request to the user and provides the tracking authorization status. Learn more on Apple Developer website

FAQ about iOS 14 Tracking restrictions

  1. Who is bound to the App Tracking Transparency framework?

App developers such as Facebook, Google, Twitter, Snapchat, TikTok, Tinder and any other app you can find on the app store.
  2. Is AnyTrack an app you can find on the Apple App Store?

    No.
  3. Is your website an app on the App Store?

    No.
  4. Are AnyTrack tracking capabilities affected by the App Tracking Transparency framework?

No. Since AnyTrack tracks conversions coming from shops, CRMs, affiliate networks, it is not affected by what happens on the apps.
  5. So what is the fuss about the iOS 14 Tracking??

In a nutshell, when you buy ads on Facebook, your ads will appear on the Facebook Apps, or other apps that use the Facebook SDK to monetize their apps.
  • Since data is no longer being sent from Facebook App to your website, the basic Facebook pixel becomes blind, and the Facebook Ad platform can't attribute your conversions to your ads.

Since over 95% of users don't give consent, here is what happens:

  • The Facebook APP passes only campaign data such as (adset, adid, campaignid) to the Facebook Pixel.
  • The Facebook APP does not pass identifiable information to your website's when the visitor clicks on an ad.
  1. And so, how are Facebook Advertisers able to pass conversion data to Facebook?

In 2019, Facebook released the Facebook Conversion API (previously called the Server Side API). In short, it's like the Facebook Pixel, except that instead of communicating between the user browser and Facebook servers, the connection is between your server and the facebook Server.

The Conversions API creates a connection between an advertiser’s marketing data and the Meta systems that optimize ad targeting, decrease cost per action and measure results. In the case of direct integrations, this entails establishing a connection between an advertiser’s server and Meta." - Facebook

  1. So what's the difference if the data is shared between the advertiser and Facebook?

The big difference when it comes to the App Tracking Transparency Framework (ATT), is that Facebook is no longer sharing data with third parties (you), and instead YOU are sharing data with Facebook.
✅ Since you are not bound to the ATT framework, you can pass customer data to Facebook, and Facebook remains compliant with the ATT framework.
  1. So why is everyone complaining about iOS tracking?

The Facebook Pixel and Conversion API rely on each others to collect, process, and sync data that can be triggered either on the browser, or the server or both and at the same time. It's a meticulous process, that is data intensive and comes with many rules such as data hashing, and that requires precise orchestration and pipelining.
There are many tools out there that help marketers implement the Facebook Conversion API, including Google Tag Manager, Segment, or Zapier.
Yet, each of these integration tools come with technical challenges that require coding skills that most marketers don't have.
  1. How is AnyTrack different than these tools?

  • 🔴 These tools are built to perform tasks that you tell them to do. They are only as good as you master them, and Program them to do. In most cases only skilled developers can implement them.
  • ✅ AnyTrack on the other hand, seamlessly aligns with the Facebook Marketing API and automatically orchestrates your data collection, processing and streaming across your website, shops, crm, APIs and the Facebook Conversion API.
  1. Do I need technical skills to connect AnyTrack with the Facebook Conversion API?

No. The only code you'll ever see, is the Facebook Pixel (that you've probably already implemented on your website.)
